Violate Form

   The violate form allows the user to set up violation codes and descriptions.  The first box is the code.  The code must be unique.   The user will rarely see the code through out use of the system, but the code is essential to the fines and description.  The Short Description 1 and 2 are the descriptions that will be displayed in the handheld and on the citation.  The Description 1 and 2 boxes should also be filled in, as they are more descriptive and are used throughout the PC citation tracking system.  The Fine1,2, and three are incremental fines for as follows; Fine 1 - The initial amount owed for the violation, Fine 2 - The incremented fine after the past due date, usually 14 days. Fine 3, under construction.  The Ordinance Box is a municipality reference for information and display purposes only.  The check boxes on the right of the form apply to the what the handheld will prompt for after the selected violation is selected.  E.g. If a violation of "2 Hour Parking" is selected, the user would want to keep a chalk time.  The Only Available option is under construction.  In order for the violation to become an option on the handheld, the Active box must be checked.
