Gets Court Judgement Against Basher

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2001--In a lawsuit that was filed by the company in Superior Court of Suffolk County, MA, on January 3, 2001, judgement was awarded in favor of Clancy Systems International Inc. (OTCBB:CLSI - news) for damages against the defendant, who has spent the past two years stalking the company on various financial chat rooms, including Raging Bull Message Board.

In pleadings filed with the court, it was alleged that the defendant, using various aliases, posted false statements, defamatory statements, threats to the company and its principals and employees, threats to others who post, personal information of company principals, and was frequently in violation of chat room terms of service. Allegations also included evidence of the defendant hacking into the company's chat site to copy information which was then distorted and reconfigured to change the content and intent of messages and reposted in changed format on public chat sites.

In addition to the financial award to the Company, the individual is permanently enjoined from posting on Raging Bull Message Board or any other Internet message board dedicated to the discussion of Clancy Systems International, Inc.

The Company commenced an action in September 2000 to seek the identities of several John Does that were bashing and posting false and defamatory statements on the financial chat room boards. Through the company's legal firm, Bingham Dana LLP, Boston, MA, and its attorneys Victor Polk and Heidi Nadel, the Company obtained the identity of the defendant against who judgement was entered. The company intends to enforce its rights against false and defamatory bashing.
